The Reason We Are Here.

After a lifetime with motorcycles since 1977, I have seen the decline of not only motorcycle dealers, but also the sad demise of those little motorcycle repair shops which are almost entirely gone.

The local guy who fixed your bike, had a chat, had a brew and knew you locally as a valued customer.

The world has changed and is continuing to change including people who own motorcycles living in apartments or in houses that do not have the space for maintenance etc, and the local bike shop has closed down.

New riders at one time could hang around the workshops and other bikers garages to build their knowledge and enter the wonderful world of motorcycling.

Whilst heading toward retirement I thought of an idea where we could keep that vibe alive giving new bikers the opportunity that I enjoyed whereby their motorcycle is not just a form of transport but a way of life.

Having spent the last 6 years as a motorcycle maintenance tutor in a local provision and a lifetime on motorcycles, I thought that I would open up my own garage to local motorcyclists and DIY enthusiasts to use the space and equipment to service and repair their own motorcycles with a friendly word, advice, assistance and plenty of encouragement as the job progresses.

I also thought about the beginner motorcyclist or the experienced who lack the knowledge in certain areas and developed several very informative and hands on courses that would set them on their way and give them the confidence to carry out their own maintenance.

I have re-designed my large home garage into a friendly one to one workshop and furnished it with all that is needed for a friendly one to one experience for anyone who wishes carry out their own maintenance and repairs or for some to learn from the courses.

Thank you for visiting the site and I for one look forward to the journey.
