Service course for beginners.
Aimed at the beginner regardless of knowledge.
Our basic service and maintenance course is aimed at anyone who wishes to carry out their own maintenance and servicing to build their skill knowledge and save money in the future. It is a 3 to 4 hour course either am or pm weekdays and is strictly one to one for your comfort as a beginner. There is no need for a motorcycle as your service will be carried out on one of our bikes and the full service course will be given to you in paper form before you leave so that you can refresh your knowledge of your learning at leisure.
You can even book our garage for an hour at a later date to carry out your own service on your own machine saving money and in the knowledge that everything has been carried out as per spec. All PPE is supplied apart from overalls and boots.
MOT Preparation Course.
Aimed at the beginner regardless of knowledge
The MOT preparation course is designed to give you an insight into what happens and what is expected. It is a 3 to 4 hour course either am or pm. In addition, you will learn how and why each section is tested and what is likely to pass or fail. There is no need for a motorcycle as this will be carried out on one of our bikes. The course removes anxiety which some may experience prior to an MOT inspection and gives you the foresight and knowledge to maintain and prepare your motorcycle for the MOT with the best chance of a pass and prepare you for the simple reality and stress free experience of a fail. All PPE is supplied apart from overalls and boots.
Simple bodywork repairs and paint finish/polish course.
Aimed at the beginner regardless of knowledge.
This short course will not turn you into a custom motorcycle paint sprayer and finisher, but it will teach you the basics with hands on experience of how to polish out minor blemishes, make a repair using various products and build that repair to a good paint finish.
The skills you learn and the knowledge you acquire will enable you practice and build on those skills moving in the right direction whilst you perfect them at your leisure. The course is 6 to 8 hours and involves products that are included in the cost. The compressor and spray gun info is run through and demonstrated but for practical and cost reasons, the spraying techniques will be applied by aerosol. All PPE is supplied apart from overalls and boots so old clothes please!!
